He began his tax career in 2011 in India and has advised several large corporates such as HTWL, IndiGo Airlines, Sony India, Jubilant FoodWorks assisting them with various tax services such as VAT, Service Tax, Customs and Central Excise. Amarendra has worked in the GCC since 2017, assisting clients with their VAT implementations in UAE, Bahrain and Oman. His core expertise include tax advisory, implementation, audits and compliances. He has also advised on Economic Substance Regulations (ESR) and Excise Tax across a broad range of sectors such as Real Estate, Healthcare, Insurance, Shipping, I.T., Manufacturing, Education and Retail.
